Q. Are memberships available?
A. Yes – you may download an application form from this website under the membership Info page.  Mail the completed form to the address on the form.

Q.What are the membership options?
A. An individual membership is $350 annually and a family membership is $450.  This includes the members spouse, children up to 21 years of age if they are in college or in military service. 

Q. Are there camps available?
A. Yes, camps become available for sale from time to time are listed on this web site. 

Q. How is the hunting on the lease?
A. Our big and small game hunting is typical of the Adirondack area.  This includes some rough terrain along the Snowy and Panther mountain ridges and more gentle terrain in Bear Trap swamp and along the Cedar River (see club map for reference).  Usually several large bucks are taken each fall.

Q. Is there any fishing on the lease?
A. Yes, our lease borders the Cedar River for several miles which is a trout stocked waterway.  Additionally, there is Squaw Brook and several other small streams.  There is a small pond at the end of the Squaw Valley road under Snowy Mountain that has club provided row boats.

Q. Are ATVs allowed?
A. Yes, we have 28 miles of truck roads plus numerous connector trails between the truck roads.

Q. Is snowmobiling allowed?
A. Yes. Snowmobiles are allowed on all our roads as ATVs are.  Plus the Indian Lake town trail passes through our lease for several miles giving members direct access to Moose River Plains, Old Forge, Newcomb and beyond.  Our main parking area is plowed for members in the winter.

Q. Is DVC one of the clubs slated to be shut down or sold to the State of New York?
A. No.  DVC Leased lands are owned by the Upper Hudson Woodlands, LLC and are classified commercial timberlands allowing recreational use in a working forest.
